Immigrant visa denial decision reversed after rebuttal

Our client applied her mother from China to the United States. Guangzhou Consulate refused her visa on the ground that the applicant had only about $45,000 household income a year and her mother is 75 years old and she will likely become public charge.

We submitted additional evidence, including analysis of her income and expenses and a letter from potential employer who offered to hire the mother to take care of her child. We also submitted a strong letter stating the relevant law and facts of the case. Immigrant visa was issued in about three months after we submitted our rebuttal.
