[移民资讯] 没有合法身份可以在美读书
司法部今日发布公开信,告诫全国公立学校在决定收取学生时不得以学生或其父母没有在美国的合法身份为由拒绝。司法部强调,公立学校(从小学到高中)不得用移民身份为由拒收学生,违者将面临联邦指控。
学校可以要求学生证明年龄,居住地,学校也可以要求学生的社安号,但不提供社安号不是拒收的理由。
